A devotee of beauty Klemm did not inhabit his time—he challenged it, altered it, and turned it into a continuous work of art, until he himself inadvertently became a pop art piece.
Federico had a mandate: to follow in the footsteps of his father, Fritz, a successful businessman who hated him. The path of tradition was about to break. After his father’s death, Federico inherited a vast fortune, became a gallerist, patron, artist, and revolutionized the art world.
Federico understood that creation was a form of eternity, and perhaps, nearing his own death—due to AIDS—he sensed that by leaving a legacy for future generations, he would one day be recognized.

Federico Klemm had it all: money, fame, a dazzling art collection, wild parties, and muscular men. His life is a kind of microcosm of the second half of the 20th century in Argentina, as his biography intersects with the major political and cultural events of the time.
Focusing on his bold and daring spirit, the series will tell the story of his arrival in Argentina from the Czech Republic and his adventures adapting to a new and socially turbulent country. It will follow his journey as an extravagant and restless young man in the midst of a conservative society, his first steps as a pop artist, his controversial romances and friendships, his unlikely rise to fame through television in the 1990s, and his tragic and unexpected end as a victim of AIDS.
